O CARÁTER EXTRAFISCAL DOS IMPOSTOS DE EXPORTAÇÃO E IMPORTAÇÃO NA PRESERVAÇÃO AMBIENTAL

O presente trabalho teve como objetivo realizar um breve estudo sobre a aplicabilidade do caráter extrafiscal dos Impostos de Importação e de Exportação, visando a educação ambiental a longo prazo e a conservação ambiental imediata. Concluiu-se que é viável a utilização desses dois tributos, como mecanismos para inibir aqueles comportamentos que prestam desserviço para o meio ambiente e, ao mesmo tempo, para encorajar o contribuinte que age em benefício do meio ambiente.

ABSTRACT

The present work had as objective to conduct a brief study on the applicability of the extrafiscal character of taxes on imports and exports, with a view to long-term environmental education and and environmental conservation. It was concluded that it is feasible to use these two taxes, as mechanisms to inhibit those behaviors that provide disservice to the Middle Environment and, at the same time, to encourage the taxpayer who acts for the benefit of the environment.
