As pesquisas levadas a termo e transcritas neste artigo tiveram como principal objetivo avaliar qual é e também qual deve ser o significado e o conteúdo da proteção social das trabalhadoras e dos trabalhadores no que concerne a sua saúde e ao meio ambiente de trabalho equilibrado – âmbitos de proteção que se constituem em um catalizador da promoção da dignidade humana – frente aos desafios da realidade contemporânea que requer um adequado equilíbrio entre os interesses do capital e as necessidades da cidadania.

ABSTRACT

The studies here presented evaluated what is and what should be the meaning and the content regarding workers’ social protection concerning their health and a balanced working environment– protection fields that work as a catalyst to promote human dignity. These subjects are analyzed taking into consideration the challenges presented by contemporary reality that demands an adequate balance between the interest of the capital and the needs of the citizenship.
