O DIREITO FUNDAMENTAL À EDUCAÇÃO, A PESSOA IDOSA E OS DESAFIOS DA INCLUSÃO DIGITAL

O presente artigo tem por objetivo demonstrar a importância da educação à distância na inclusão social do idoso, repercutindo na melhora de sua qualidade de vida e oportunizando a realização de sonhos outrora esquecidos. Ao mesmo tempo, discute a realidade moderna que instituiu novos modelos de comportamento que se utilizam de tecnologia de comunicação, e a necessidade das pessoas idosas se familiarizarem a esse ambiente virtual. Analisa também como as de instituições de ensino superior podem encarar o desafio de absorver este grupo social que tem experiência de vida,mas não está habituado com as ferramentas trazidas pelas novas tecnologias. Tratase de uma pesquisa de cunho bibliográfico, cuja justificativa principal foi identificar maneiras de inserir a pessoa idosa no ensino superior à distância e lhe proporcionar oportunidades de interação social e ressignificação pessoal.

ABSTRACT

The present article aims to demonstrate the importance of distance education in the social inclusion of the elderly, reflecting on the improvement of their quality of life and providing opportunities for the realization of dreams that were once forgotten. At the same time, it discusses the modern reality that instituted new models of behavior that use communication technology, and the need for elderly people to become familiar with this virtual environment. It also analyzes how those from higher education institutions can face the challenge of absorbing this social group that has life experience, but is not used to the tools brought by new technologies. It is a bibliographic research, whose main justification was to identify ways to insert the elderly person in higher education at a distance and provide them with opportunities for social interaction and personal reframing.
