A DISCRIMINAÇÃO DA MULHER PARANAENSE NO MERCADO DE TRABALHO E AS AÇÕES AFIRMATIVAS EM PROL DA IGUALDADE

RESUMO

A discriminação de gênero é altamente combatida pela sociedade brasileira contemporânea, no entanto, a fim de realizar uma análise minuciosa da proporção e das particularidades da desigualdade entre o homem e a mulher, especialmente no mercado de trabalho, área que revela os maiores tratamentos discriminatórios, faz-se oportuna a utilização da pesquisa de campo, direcionada neste trabalho para a condição da mulher no Estado do Paraná. Apenas com dados estatísticos, voltados aos fatores sociais relevantes – tais como faixa etária, grau de instrução e rendimento salarial – é viável se evadir da esfera abstrata e hipotética da discriminação da mulher e atestar sua existência concreta. Desse modo, o presente trabalho averiguou, por meio dos métodos investigativo e crítico, além do estudo de campo, soluções para minimizar a discriminação de gênero no país, com o auxílio de intervenção do Poder Público, para possibilitar a devida autonomia e empoderamento feminino.

ABSTRACT

Gender discrimination is strongly opposed by the contemporary Brazilian society, however, to conduct a thorough analysis of the proportion and the particularities of inequality between men and women, especially in the labor market, an area that reveals the most discriminatory treatment, is made timely use of field research, directed in this work for the status of women in the State of Paraná. Only with statistical data, geared to the relevant social factors – such as age, education level and salary income  – it is feasible to escape the abstract and hypothetical sphere of discrimination against women and assure their concrete existence. Thus, this study found out, through the investigative and critical methods in addition to the field of study, solutions to minimize gender discrimination in the country, with the intervention of the government, for enable proper autonomy and women's empowerment.
