TEORIA REALISTA E NEORREALISTA: CORÉIA DO NORTE E A HEGEMONIA NORTE AMERICANA

O presente artigo objetiva, no campo das relações internacionais, observar a evolução histórica das teorias realista e neorrealista e o advento do armamento nuclear no contexto da Segunda Guerra Mundial e Guerra Fria. Na sequência, compreender através destas teorias, a busca pelo poder e a hegemonia norte americana, bem como o Tratado de Não Proliferação de Armas Nucleares pode ser uma ferramenta para manutenção do status quo para as potências detentoras desta tecnologia. Busca ainda, analisar a afronta da hegemonia norte americana através da ameaça norte coreana de um ataque nuclear no atual cenário internacional. Para tanto, a metodologia utilizada para a construção deste artigo consiste na pesquisa bibliográfica em literaturas basilares da área de relações internacionais e correlatas, artigos científicos de bancos de dados internacionais e publicações acadêmicas de revistas científicas.

ABSTRACT

This article aims at observing the historical evolution of the realist and neorealist theories and the advent of nuclear weapons in the context of World War II and

the Cold War. In the sequence, to understand through these theories, the search for the power and the North American hegemony, as well as the Treaty of Not Proliferation of Nuclear Arms can be a tool for maintaining the status quo for the powers that hold this technology. It also seeks to analyze the affront of North American hegemony through the North Korean threat of a nuclear attack in the current international scenario. To do so, the methodology used for the construction of this work consists of the bibliographical research in basic literature of the area of international and related relations, scientific articles of international databases and academic publications of scientific journals.
