OS DIREITOS HUMANOS DO POLICIAL MILITAR EM CONTEXTO DE PANDEMIA DO CORONAVÍRUS

O objetivo desta pesquisa foi o de demonstrar as consequências que a pandemia do coronavírus ocasionou aos policiais militares da cidade de Manaus, durante os meses de março a julho de 2020. Os objetivos específicos foram verificar quais as ações adotadas pelo comando da instituição para proteção dos policiais militares durante a realização do serviço, identificar a incidência de contaminação dos policiais militares e entender quais as consequências dessa contaminação para o policial militar. A metodologia utilizada foi a do método dedutivo, com finalidade descritiva, abordagem qualitativa e quantitativa, os meios de coleta das informações foram livros, artigos científicos, jornais eletrônicos e alguns documentos oriundos da Polícia Militar do Amazonas: Boletins do Comando da Instituição e planilhas da Diretoria de Saúde. Concluiu-se que o comando da instituição repassou algumas medidas de prevenção aos policiais militares, como uso da máscara, álcool em gel, luvas, dentre outras, entretanto, muitos policiais militares foram contaminados com o coronavírus, e foram afastados do serviço para cumprimento da quarentena, e alguns morreram da doença Covid-19.

ABSTRACT

The objective of this research was to demonstrate the consequences that the coronavirus pandemic caused to the military police in the city of Manaus, during the months of March to July 2020. The specific objectives were to verify which actions were taken by the institution's command to protection of military police during the service, identify the incidence of contamination by military police and understand what the consequences of this contamination are for the military police. The methodology used was the deductive method, with descriptive purpose, qualitative and quantitative approach, the means of collecting information were books, scientific articles, electronic newspapers and some documents from the Military Police of Amazonas: Bulletins from the Command of the Institution and spreadsheets from the Health Directorate. It was concluded that the institution's command passed some preventive measures to the military police, such as the use of a mask, alcohol gel, gloves, among others. However, many military police were contaminated with the coronavirus, and were removed from the quarantine service, and some died of Covid-19 disease.
