ABSTRACT

The study descriptively analyzed the revenues in education, research and teaching of universities participating in the rankings - UI GreenMetric and Times Higher Education (THE). Considering the values expressed in the reports published by the institutions, a descriptive, qualitative and quantitative, documentary research was developed through descriptive analysis. The study population is the universities participating the rankings. It is concluded that there is a difference between universities mainly in the ways of capturing revenue. As a limitation of the research, it is highlighted that not all universities that are presented in the rankings were selected, which is why the results can not be generalized. Another limitation was the restrictive analysis, as it did not advance to the other analyses in addition to the descriptive one.
