RESUMO

Este artigo se dedica a observar como o ordenamento jurídico se apresenta como um útil instrumento no processo de reconstituição do aparato jurídico-administrativo da Coroa lusitana durante o século XVIII. Além do mais, buscou-se expor parte da hierarquia e da composição orgânico-funcional da monarquia portuguesa, destacando sua administração central e algumas das atribuições que as diferentes instituições possuíam no interior da estrutura jurídico-administrativa.

ABSTRACT

This article is dedicated to observe how the legal system presents itself as a useful tool in the process of reconstitution of the legal and administrative apparatus of the lusitanian monarchy during the eighteenth century. Furthermore, we sought to expose the hierarchy and composition of organic and functional Portuguese monarchy, highlighting its central administration and some of the tasks that the different institutions had within the legal and administrative structure.
