Ética e bioética no atendimento aos pacientes portadores de HIV/AIDS NO SUS

RESUMO

O presente artigo tem como objetivo demonstrar a importância da humanização no atendimento ao paciente, analisando a integração entre as políticas nacionais de humanização (teoria) e os profissionais que atuam na atenção primária (prática), especialmente no trato aos pacientes portadores de HIV/Aids, com enfoque na aplicação dos princípios da ética e bioética. Cuida-se de um tema relativamente novo na literatura. Assim, serão abordadas, de uma forma bem sucinta, as principais características da Política Nacional de Humanização (PNH) do SUS, os fundamentos da ética e bioética e sua aplicação aos profissionais da saúde no trato com pacientes em geral, sobretudo naqueles portadores de HIV/Aids. Trata-se de uma pesquisa do tipo revisão de literatura e estudo descritivo-qualitativo.

ABSTRACT

This article aims to show the relevance of humanizing the patient care examining the integration of national policies of humanization (theory) and the professionals that work on primary care (practice), especially when dealing with patients with HIV/AIDS, focusing on principles of ethics and bioethics. Take care is a relatively new problem in the literature. Thus, we shall discuss, in a very brief, the main features of the National Humanization Policy (NHP) of SUS, the foundations of ethics and bioethics and its application to health professionals in dealing with patients in general, especially those with HIV/AIDS. This is a research literature review and the applied study is descriptive and qualitative.
