ACESSO À INFORMAÇÃO QUANTO AO USO DE SEMENTES TRANSGÊNICAS NO ESTADO DO AMAZONAS

Resumo

Objetivo: O objetivo desta pesquisa foi o de analisar o acesso à informação nos sítios de órgãos de fomento à agricultura, no tocante aos perigos que as sementes transgênicas podem representar à produção de alimentos, no estado do Amazonas/AM.

Metodologia: a metodologia utilizada nesta pesquisa foi a do método dedutivo; quanto aos meios a pesquisa foi bibliográfica e documental e, quanto aos fins, a pesquisa foi qualitativa.

Resultados: Concluiu-se que as informações nos sites governamentais do estado do Amazonas, com respeito aos riscos do uso de sementes transgênicas, são praticamente inexistentes, carecendo de divulgação e informação quanto aos perigos da transgenia alimentar, uma vez que as técnicas utilizadas para essa forma de produção, são incompatíveis com a manutenção da saúde ambiental e humana

Contribuição: a contribuição da pesquisa diz respeito à necessidade de se obter essa informação de forma clara, no intuito de alertar a população sobre os possíveis prejuízos que essa nova tecnologia pode trazer, uma vez que já temos condenações em pecúnia, em alguns países, tendo em vista as doenças que esses alimentos estão causando.

ABSTRACT

Objective: The objective of this research was to analyze access to information on the websites of agricultural promotion agencies, regarding the dangers that transgenic seeds can pose to food production in the state of Amazonas/AM. 

Methodology: the methodology used in this research was the deductive method; as for the means, the research was bibliographic and documentary and, as for the ends, the research was qualitative.

Results: It was concluded that the information on the government websites of the state of Amazonas, regarding the risks of using transgenic seeds, is practically non-existent, lacking dissemination and information about the dangers of food transgenics, since the techniques used for this form of production, are incompatible with the maintenance of environmental and human health.

Contribution: the contribution of the research concerns the need to obtain this information in a clear way, in order to alert the population about the possible damages that this new technology can bring, since we already have convictions in pecuniary in some countries, having in view of the diseases these foods are causing.
