MODERNIDADE, HIPERCONSUMO E SEUS REFLEXOS NO MEIO AMBIENTE: CONSIDERAÇÕES ACERCA DOS IMPACTOS SOCIOAMBIENTAIS

Objetivos: O presente trabalho analisa a questão da modernidade e um dos principais fenômenos que ela traz consigo, o hiperconsumo, que tem se manifestado na sociedade moderna como um comportamento danoso e desenfreado que acaba por atingir à toda comunidade global, seja tanto com impactos sociais como ambientais. Pretende-se ensejar uma reflexão acerca de como a formação social da modernidade gera impactos graves no meio ambiente humano e ecossistêmico.

Metodologia: O estudo adota uma abordagem hermenêutica a partir da técnica de pesquisa bibliográfica sob uma perspectiva analítica e reflexiva.

Resultados: A partir da ponderação, observa-se como se dão os reflexos causados pelo hiperconsumo principalmente na seara ambiental e social, averiguados os principais danos aos quais o meio ambiente jaz sujeito, assim, demonstrando-se como a modernidade tem lesado o patrimônio natural.

Contribuições: O estudo oferece uma reflexão acerca dos impactos socioambientais da modernidade, ensejando a formação de uma nova racionalidade acerca de como lidar com as tecnologias e recursos crescentes no mundo moderno.

ABSTRACT

Objective:The present work analyzes the issue of modernity and one of the main phenomena that it brings with it, hyperconsumption, which has manifested itself in modern society as a harmful and unrestrained behavior that ends up reaching the entire global community, whether with social impacts either as environmental. It is intended to give rise to a reflection on how the social formation of modernity generates serious impacts on the human and ecosystem environment. 

Methodology: The study adopts a hermeneutic approach based on the technique of bibliographic research from an analytical and reflective perspective.

Results: From the weighting, it is observed how the reflexes caused by hyperconsumption take place, mainly in the environmental and social field, ascertaining the main damages to which the environment lies subject, thus demonstrating how modernity has damaged the natural heritage.

Contributions: The study offers a reflection on the socioenvironmental impacts of modernity, giving rise to the formation of a new rationality about how to deal with the growing technologies and resources in the modern world.
