Ambiente externo e processo de definição de estratégias organizacionais: uma revisão e síntese teórica

RESUMO

O presente estudo tem o objetivo de demonstrar a influência que o ambiente externo exerce no processo de decisão estratégica das organizações e, como conseqüência, nas mudanças internas necessárias para se adequar às novas situações. Toda decisão implica escolha da melhor alternativa para aproveitar as oportunidades e diminuir as ameaças do ambiente externo em busca do sucesso empresarial, sem se esquecer de reavaliar as condições internas, fortalecendo os pontos fortes e corrigindo os problemas e pontos fracos da organização. Com base na correta avaliação do cenário externo, as organizações se obrigam planejar e definir as mudanças que devem ocorrer internamente e como fazê-las de forma a minimizar as resistências e sem ocasionar uma queda no desempenho organizacional.

ABSTRACT

The present study wants to demonstrate the influence of the external environment in the strategic process of decision on organizations and as consequence in the internal changes to be prepared at new situations. All decision implies in the choice of the best alternative to advantage the chances and to diminish the threats of the external environment in search of the enterprise success, without forgetting to reevaluate the internal conditions, fortifying the strong points and correcting the problems and weak points of the organization. From the correct evaluation of the external scene the organizations must plan and define which changes are necessary and the way to make them minimize the difficulties and without causing a fall in the organizational performance.
