PRESENCA CHINESA NA AFRICA: A AREA ENERGETICA EM DESTAQUE

RESUMO

O presente artigo  apresenta  como  objetivo  geral  estudar  a  presença  chinesa  no  continente africano,  em  especial  nos  países  fornecedores  de  energia.  Indaga-se sobre quais  são  os principais  esforços  político-diplomáticos  e  comerciais  da  política  externa  chinesa  para  obter  os recursos energéticos que sustentam seu crescimento e desenvolvimento econômico.  A pesquisa coloca-se como hipótese  que  no  final  dos  anos  1990  os  chineses  começaram  a  construir  uma grande  estratégia  reforçando  seus  princípios  de  soberania  igualitária  e  não  interferência  nos assuntos  internos  dos  países  africanos.  A escolha  do  tema  justifica-se  devido  à  grande importância  que  o  continente  africano  tem  despertado  para  o  mundo,  inclusive  para  a  China, principalmente no século XXI. Pois, quando as grandes reservas mundiais de energia já se fazem escassas na maior parte do planeta, alguns países africanos oferecem ainda enormes fontes dos recursos energéticos.

ABSTRACT

This  paper  presents  the  general  objective  studying  the  Chinese  presence  in  Africa,  especially  in energy supplying countries. Asks itself about what are the main political and diplomatic efforts and trade  of  Chinese  foreign  policy  for  energy  resources  that  sustain  their  growth  and  development economic. The survey placed as hypothesized that in the late 1990s the Chinese began to build a grand  strategy  to  strengthen  their  egalitarian  principles  of  sovereignty  and  noninterference  in internal affairs of African countries. The theme is justified by importance that Africa has awakened to the world, including  China,  especially  in  the  twenty-first  century.  For when the great world energy  supplies  are  already  scarce  in  most  of  the  world,  some  African  countries  still  offer  huge sources of energy resources.
