Poder, violência e política: uma crítica ao presente, com base em Hannah Arendt

O texto discute as relações entre política, violência e poder no mundo contemporâneo, com base nas reflexões de Hannah Arendt. Num primeiro momento, busca-se demonstrar a constante instrumentalização e generalização da violência no presente. Para a distinção entre poder e violência, recorremos a Michel Foucault e Arendt como contrapontos a movimentos sociais e intelectuais que defenderam uma positividade da violência. Por fim, analisamos o papel do mundo comum entre os homens na superação da violência e em que medida uma crítica global da contemporaneidade não deve abrir mão da tarefa de repensar o político e a constituição dos sujeitos no presente.

ABSTRACT

The text argues the relations between politics, violence and power in the world contemporary leaving of the reflections of Hannah Arendt. At a first moment we search to demonstrate to the constant instrument and generalization of the violence in the gift. For the distinction between being able and violence we appeal to the Michel Foucault and Arendt as counterpoints the social and intellectual movements that had defended a positiveness of the violence. Finally, we analyze the paper of the common world enters the men in the overcoming of the violence, and where measured critical a global one of the contemporany time it does not have to open hand of the task to rethink the politician and the constitution of the citizens in the present.
