O USO DO AUDIOVISUAL NAS AULAS DE HISTÓRIA DE ESCOLAS PARTICULARES DE CURITIBA SEGUNDO A PERSPECTIVA DOS PROFESSORES.

Pretende discutir a relação entre a educação e a comunicação na sociedade pós-moderna. Busca compreender de que forma recursos e linguagens proporcionados pelos meios de comunicação de massa são trabalhados na escola. O foco de estudo é o uso do audiovisual nas aulas da disciplina de História em escolas particulares de ensino fundamental de Curitiba, segundo a perspectiva dos professores. Realiza uma pesquisa bibliográfica para resgatar aspectos da sociedade da informação, as relações entre a comunicação e a educação neste contexto e o uso do audiovisual na escola. Cinco professores de cinco escolas particulares de Curitiba são entrevistados sobre o uso de recursos audiovisuais nas aulas. As entrevistas foram metodologicamente construídas a partir de roteiros semi-estruturados com base em um tópico guia. Os resultados apontam que o uso destes recursos nas aulas faz com que os alunos desenvolvam uma percepção mais apurada com relação aos meios de comunicação, aos recursos audiovisuais e conseqüentemente com relação à sociedade. Os recursos audiovisuais podem ser usados para retratar períodos históricos e para fazer ligações e relações com assuntos atuais, como a banalização da violência

ABSTRACT

It is intended to discuss the relationship between education and communication in the postmodern society. Seeks to understand how the features and languages provided by the mass media are worked in school. The focus of this study is the use of audiovisual material in the lessons of history of discipline in primary school private schools in Curitiba, through the perspective of teachers. Perform a literature searches to rescue aspects of the information society, the relationship between communication and education in this context and the use of audiovisual at school. Five teachers from five private schools in Curitiba were interviewed about the use of audiovisual resources in the classroom. Interviews were methodologically built from semi-structured scripts based on a topic guide. Results show that the use of these resources in the classroom makes students develop a more accurate perception with respect to the media, audiovisual resources and consequently according to society. Audiovisual resources can be used to portray historical periods and to make connections and relationships with current issues such as the trivialization of violence
