O presente artigo relaciona as teorias da Pirâmide das Necessidades, de Maslow, e dos Três Cérebros, de Paul MacLean, para demonstrar como o Homem vem se relacionando com o trabalho ao longo do tempo e, com isso, desenvolvendo o intelecto, as relações sociais, sua visão de mundo e seu domínio sobre a natureza. Seguindo uma sequência lógica partindo das necessidades humanas e do uso crescente da inteligência o Homem partiu de atividades básicas elementares relacionadas à sua preservação e evolução enquanto espécie até atingir a busca da satisfação pessoal em nossa sociedade moderna voltada para o consumo, baseada em conhecimento e informação, na qual o trabalho é o elemento comum que possibilita ao homem a auto realização pessoal. Demonstra, ainda, como o desenvolvimento da arte musical possibilitou a geração de uma sociedade mais inteligente que revolucionou as relações humanas a partir do desenvolvimento da escrita musical.

ABSTRACT

The present article wants to join both theories, Maslow´s Pyramid of Demands and Maclean´s Triune Brain, to show how the relationship of the Mankind with the job activity has grown along the time resulting the development of his intelligence, his social relations, his knowledge of the world and his domain over the nature. Following a logical sequence starting from human demands and use of intelligence, the Mankind began in elementary basic activities related to his preservation and evolution while specie to try to get the search of personal satisfaction in nowadays consume society, based on knowledge and information, in which the job activity provides personal self realization to human been. It shows to, how the development of musical art made possible the formation of generations of more intelligent people that has been transformed the human relations starting from the development of musical notation.
