Guerra no ar: combate aéreo e teoria da guerra de Clausewitz

RESUMO

As Relações Internacionais são marcadas por relações de guerra e paz entre os Estados, o que faz com que sejam relevantes não apenas estudos sobre a cooperação entre os atores, mas também estudos sobre a guerra, sobre a utilização da força no cenário internacional. É assim que os Estudos estratégicos se tornam um aspecto de fundamental importância para a política internacional, devendo ser levado em conta, quando se pretende compreender o sistema internacional. Dentro do campo dos Estudos Estratégicos, destaca-se a utilização bélica do ar, que é o tema deste trabalho. O objetivo é analisar a guerra no ar a partir da perspectiva da teoria da guerra, de Carl von Clausewitz, buscando perceber se as considerações do autor, um dos principais fundadores do pensamento estratégico, se aplicam ao combate aéreo. Dessa forma, serão discutidas as contribuições de Clausewitz, bem como o aspecto tático acerca da guerra no ar, para que se possa, assim, analisar o uso da força no ar sob a luz da teoria da guerra.

ABSTRACT

International Relations are characterized by relations of war and peace between states, what shows the relevance of studies not only about cooperation among actors but also about war and the use of force in the international scenario. This is how Strategic Studies become an important aspect of international politics, which can not be ignored by the intent to comprehend the international system. In Strategic Studies field, the military use of the air can be stressed, being the main issue in this work. The aim is to analyze the air war though the perspective of the theory of war, from Carl von Clausewitz, trying to verify if the considerations of the author, one of the most important thinkers of strategic studies, can be apply to air combat. This way, will be discussed Clausewitz contributions, as well as the tactic aspect of  air war, to analyze then the use of force in the air though the lens of theory of war.
