PROSPECÇÃO TECNOMÉTRICA EM BASE DE DOCUMENTOS PATENTÁRIOS: UM EXEMPLO PRÁTICO DE IDENTIFICAÇÃO DE OPORTUNIDADES DE NEGÓCIO PARA PEQUENOS EMPREENDEDORES

Resumo


Este artigo demonstra a utilização de uma ferramenta de mineração de dados, o Patent2Net (P2N), que se utilizou da base Espacenet, com 100 milhões de patentes, para identificar novas oportunidades de negócio para pequenos empreendedores. Foram identificados 7 documentos que poderiam ser utilizadas para este fim, e após o estudo de uma patente em profundidade, selecionou-se um sistema informatizado onde empreendedores realizam um cadastro e, da mesma forma, os dados e preferências dos investidores também são lançados no sistema. Em seguida, o programa cruza essas informações, resultando em potenciais parcerias entre investidores e empreendedores. Concluiu-se que, por meio do ensino sobre os preceitos da propriedade intelectual, complementado pela prática na utilização do P2N, é possível definir temas de interesse e identificar patentes livres no Brasil, e que possam ser aperfeiçoadas ou até mesmo aplicadas diretamente para solução de problemas nos mais diferentes tipos de organizações.
